The Mount Peko National Park

This park is close to Duekoue and extends over 34,000 hectares. It takes its name from Mount Peko which is 1000 metres high. It is famous for its vegetation and also has a varied animal population including elephants, panthers, crocodiles, monkeys and birds. Visitors can stay in the hotels in Abidjan or Duekoue and travel to the park on the tar-macked road which links these two cities.
